About Me
My Background
Dr. Jennifer Agatep received her bachelors degree from UCLA and a masters degree from California State University, Dominguez Hills. She also received a doctorate degree in Education: Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University.
My Experience
Over 15 years of experience in the educational field, Dr. Jennifer Agatep has extensive experience working in both public and provide educational institutions which have included: UCLA, UCI, Cal State Dominguez Hills, and Pepperdine University. She has held management positions in admissions and recruitment as well as student affairs, retention, and student success. In addition Dr. Agatep has been a part-time instructor having taught English Language and Composition. Her expertise in essay writing, as been a valuable asset in helping client craft strong and concise personal statements for undergraduate and graduate admissions.
Her publication "Admissions Strategies for Graduate Teaching Credential Programs: A Holistic Approach Using Non-Cognitive Variables" is based on her extensive research on effective processes and decision-making through a holistic (360 analysis) admissions approach in identifying best candidates in selective institutions.
In addition, Dr. Agatep is a member of several professional educational consultant organizations. And each year, she attends a variety of webinars and conferences to better help better serve the needs of clients

Intro Consultation
I offer a complimentary one-hour service to go over the application process with the student and their family. After this initial consultation, I follow up with the family to recommend an appropriate service for their needs.
Hourly Consultations
I am available on an hourly basis to give families advice about finding the right college, writing applications, standardized testing, and more.
Complete Placement Service
I offer a complete service that includes evaluating the student's academic record, establishing reachable goals, advising the student throughout the application process, and advocating for the student.
